We added Accessing standards in the workplace

A CILA event identified that it took more than 2 hours to access standards from our systems and that it was not clear which standard applied where.

Continuous Improvement Leadership Academy on the go

We took all of the content and learnings from the bootcamps and used them to create our own online academy on the app, full of in-depth coaching videos and materials.

This allows anyone in the organisation to quickly and easily train new people, learn our operating system, or refresh their understanding, at any time.

We added a Go Look See feature

The Leadership Actions resonate well with our operations leaders.
We built an admin function to build a series of Go Look Sees to meet our operational needs and to drive our CI Agenda

Quick and easy GLS creation allows for bespoke templates to be made for any initiative and has being incredibly effective during our current PSM Drive by ensuring quality coaching and compliance to standards.

A national report is issued to senior leaders each week

Royal Mail has been using Concern slips for 4-5 years in processing. The organisation has struggled to maintain the process and methodology across the sites. The app enables RM to ‘coach/guide’ the leader through the concern slip process, share and escalate where required, and close the problems effectively to root cause.

Driving ideas in the workplace

Sometimes we just have great ideas. The CI app lets our WAMs and Shift Managers capture great ideas, rate them in terms of effectiveness and escalate them for recognition.

In processing, leaders have been behind the curve on generating ideas with the team. NIMC did not have an ideas generation process beforehand but now have raised a total of 33, and completed 9.

Functionality for all levels of the business

The new roadmaps feature is ideal for assessing and coaching units at a strategic level against the operating system, as part of a unit assessment.

It allows users to evaluate units in the business against the pre-defined lean criteria created in the roadmaps, and provide them with a status from which to improve on.

These features can be used fully offline, paused and come back to, and done in tandem with the GLS feature, in order to fully maximise all coaching opportunities when on the operational floor.

Based on constant feedback from operations during the trials and deployment we have now developed even more features, including new data inputs which have enabled us to create even more tailored GLSs.
