Team Building

DESIGNED FOR

Delegates who have responsibility for leading teams or who are about to take on leadership responsibility, and would benefit from understanding how effective teams work. (Leadership Training)

Delegates who already work in a team and who would like to explore and understand how to work together more effectively.

Newly formed or short term teams (Project / Cross Functional teams) that would benefit from forming or developing working relationships

 

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

  • Delegates will be given an opportunity to participate and lead teams outside their normal work environment (comfort zone) in challenging and differing situations.
  • Delegates will be required to collectively and individually review each challenge, identifying how they as individuals performed and participated in the tasks and how effective they all worked together as a team (Improvement opportunities identified)

  • How to reviewing individual and team performance
  • Giving feedback
  • How to Influence team performance
  • Motivation Positive v Negative energy

DAY 2

  • Experiential learning (outdoor activities) continued
  • Stages team development
  • How to be an effective Team player
  • Some of the theories about leadership
  • Types of leadership (We all have leadership responsibility)
  • Transferring the learning back into the workplace
