One of the things that our many years of experience with Lean has taught us is that the first step in any lean task involves leadership.
Good leaders are excellent role models. They empower others, support change, provide opportunities and drive standards, among other things. These qualities are even more important when working by the Lean philosophy.
Being a lean leader involves being a catalyst for change: overcoming resistance, reassuring and educating peers, and nurturing sceptics along the way – all of which can be exhausting without the necessary skills.
Our Lean Leadership Programme gives leaders the skills they need to lead by example and rise to the challenge. It covers:
- The 5 guiding principles as a way to deliver change
- Coaching skills to develop the organisation
- Advanced lean skills
- Leadership development
- Developing a lean vision and strategy for delivery.
